Frogs are amphibians which means they can live on both land and in water. When the frogs are in the water, they breathe through their skin (gills) and when on land they breathe with their lungs which are fully developed during their adult stage. It should also be noted that while on land, they can also breathe through their skin if it stays moist.

Frogs are born with gills, they grow lungs as they grow up. Their skin is the way they breathe underwater
