Explanation:

.Time of walking the dog= 50 min

.Paid per hour= 6$

.1 hr= 60 min

.We're going to calculate how much he is paid in minutes

.So, minutes divided by the earning to see how much money he get paid every amount of minutes

.60 min ÷ 6= 10 (that means after each 10 minutes he get paid)

. So, he gets a dollar after each 10 minutes

.So, 50 min ÷ 10 min = 5$
