2. They mention separations and divisions among groups (blacks, whites, gays, straights, Pole, Chinese) ** I say this bec They are not attempting to make you agree with them AND the text is not trying to entertain you**

3. The analogy that stuck out the most to me was "the left side of the hyphen-African-American, Mexican-American, Irish-American- would overwhelm the right"
