6. Angles 6, 7, 8 form a straight line so their sum is 180°. Subtract the measures of angle 7 and 8 from 180° to find angle 6.

9. Angles 6 and 9 are corresponding angles. They are congruent.

4. Angles 4, 8, 9 are the interior angles of a triangle. Their sum is 180°. Subtract the sum of angles 8 given value and the one we calculated for angle 9 from 180° to solve for angle 4.
