Marcus is laying out a design for tiles on a section of his bathroom floor. He will use 1 red tile for every 5 white tiles to have a total of 30 tiles in the design. How many of each type of tile will Marcus use?

Explanation:

given:

- 5 white tile = 1 red tile

- ? white tile = ? red tile

so, 1 * 5 = 5 red tile

5 * 5 = 25 white tile

note: both should be multiply(*) by 5

5 red tile + 25 white tile = 30 tiles
