Explanation: The "kitchen debate" was a series of exchanges between US President Richard Nixon and Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev at the opening of the American National Exhibition in Moscow in July 1959. This was like no average debate however, it was actually held in a model of an American kitchen (hence the name). Nixon used the time to highlight just how great America was and the economic system it employed (Capitalism) compared to the shortcomings of the Soviet Unions System.
