you have the right one picked! you would get a common denominator on both fractions, so 14. that would make the new equation 4 and 12/14 - 2 and 8/14. next you do the subtraction which leaves you with 2 and 4/14. you simply the fraction into 2/7. so the answer is 2 and 2/7
