Domain: All real numbers (notate as an uppercase R)
Range:
y \geq 0

Explanation:

We know that this is a quadratic function because of the parabolic function shown that is concaving up.

We also know that the domain of ALL quadratic functions is All real numbers, so that must be our domain.

For range, we are looking at the y-value and since the function is concaving up (going up positive) we know that it must be greater than or equal to.

We see that y=0 is the lowest point (minimum point) of the whole function so we can say that the range is 

y\geq 0
