Answer: 6

Explanation:

First I got the X and the 25 apart.

1. -3x=-25+7

Then I I combined 7 and -25 which was -18

2. -3x=-18

last I divided -3x by -18.

3. -18/-3= X

Last the negitives cancel each other and three 6's go into 18

Calculating

Our task is to solve the following equation:

\sf{25-3x=7}

Subtract 25 from both sides:

\sf{-3x=7-25}

Simplify:

\sf{-3x=-18}

Divide each side by -1

\sf{3x=18}

Divide each side by 3

\sf{x=6}
