Explanation:

in an arithmetic sequence every term is created by adding a constant (the same for the whole sequence) to the previous term.

so, we get 2 terms :

-2, 4

what was added to -2 to get 4 ?

aha ! 6 was added (as 4 - -2 = 6).

that means 6 is the constant for this sequence.

and so, the terms are :

-2, 4, 10, 16, 22, ...

therefore the next 3 terms are 10, 16, 22.
