Answer: -24/7

(-2) - (1 + 3/7)
First we can rewrite the numbers as fractions with a common denominator.
1/1 = 7/7. So 3/7 + 7/7 = 10/7.
Now -2 = -2/1. Multiply the numerator and denominator by 7 and we get -14/7.

We can now rewrite the equation as
(-14/7) - (10/7) = -24/7. This cannot be simplified further as a fraction. It can be -3.43 as a decimal rounded to the hundredths place.
