Explanation:

All angles in a square measures 90°. It means both the angles given here (4t + 20)° and (7f + 6)° equals 90°.

Now we have to equate them to find the value of t and f:

\hookrightarrow \: 4t + 20 \degree= 90 \degree

\hookrightarrow \: 4t = 70 \degree

\hookrightarrow \: t = 17.5 \degree

Similarly for f,

\hookrightarrow \: 7f + 6 \degree = 90 \degree

\hookrightarrow \: 7f = 84 \degree

\hookrightarrow \: f = 12 \degree

~The required values of t and f are 17.5° and 12° respectively.

Answer:

t = 17.5 , f = 12

Explanation:

the interior angles of a square are 90° , then

4t + 20 = 90 ( subtract 20 from both sides )

4t + 20 - 20 = 90 - 20 ( simplify )

4t = 70 ( divide both sides by 4 )

(4)/(4) t =
(70)/(4) , that is

t = 17.5

and

7f + 6 = 90 ( subtract 6 from both sides )

7f + 6 - 6 = 90 - 6 ( simplify )

7f = 84 ( divide both sides by 7 )

(7)/(7) f =
(84)/(7) , that is

f = 12
