Explanation:
(a)
f(x) = ½x + 1
x = -4 ==> y = -1
x = -3 ==> y = -½
x = -2 ==> y = 0
x = -1 ==> y = ½
x = 0 ==> y = 1
x = 1 ==> y = 1½
x = 2 ==> y = 2
x = 3 ==> y = 2½
x = 4 ==> y = 3
