What are some of the health disparities that exist in the United States today? Why do you think these differences exist? What policies do you think would most effectively address or eliminate health disparities?

For instance, Americans who live in rural settings are more likely than urban residents to pass away from accidental injuries, heart disease, cancer, stroke, and chronic lower respiratory diseases. States and communities incur enormous costs as a result of these health inequities.
