Deepa misses 2% of the free throws she attempts in a season. How many total free throws did she attempt if she missed 6? Multiply/scale up to solve.

well, she made a total of "x" throws, which oddly enough is the 100%, but we also know that 6 is the 2%, so

\begin{array}{ccll} Amount&\%\\ \cline{1-2} x & 100\\ 6& 2 \end{array} \implies \cfrac{x}{6}~~=~~\cfrac{100}{2} \implies \cfrac{x}{6} ~~=~~ 50\implies x = 300
