a piece of wire 3/4 m long was cut into three pieces .the first piece was 3/20 m long , while the length of the second piece was 5/3 of the first piece how long was the third piece?

Answer:

7/20m

Explanation:

Ok so 3/4 is equal to 15/20.

Then you subtract the 3/20 from the 15/20 to get 12/20.

Then you multiply 3/20 by 5/3 to get 5/20 or 1/4.

Then you subtract 5/20 from 12/20 to get 7/20.

7/20 of a meter was the length of the 3rd piece.
