A right circular cylinder of radius r cm and height h cm (h > 2r) just encloses a sphere. Find diameter of the sphere.

Explanation:

since h > 2r, the enclosed sphere is limited by the side wall of the cylinder, and not by the height.

and so, the diameter of the sphere is the same as the diameter of the circular base and top areas.

and that is 2r.

the diameter of the sphere is 2r.

remember, the diameter of a circle is 2 times the radius.
