A scale drawing is an enlargement of an object. Given that the scale drawing of a lake has a scale of 1 cm to 80 m, then;

1cm = 80m

If the actual width of the lake is 1,000 m, then the lake on the scale is as shown;

Lake on the scale = 1000/80

Lake on the scale = 12.5cm
