Let f(x)=8-3x and g(x)=2x-7. Find all values of x for which f(x)<=g(x).

x ≥ 3

Explanation:

f(x) ≤ g(x) , that is

8 - 3x ≤ 2x - 7 ( subtract 2x from both sides )

8 - 5x ≤ - 7 ( subtract 8 from both sides )

- 5x ≤ - 15

divide both sides by - 5 , reversing the symbol as a result of dividing by a negative quantity.

x ≥ 3
