the other integer is 43

Explanation:

let the other integer be n then sum the 2 and equate to 24

- 19 + n = 24 ( add 19 to both sides )

- 19 + 19 + n = 24 + 19

n = 43

the other integer is 43 , that is

- 19 + 43 = 24
