Answer:

AC = 5 cm

Explanation:

given the triangles are similar then the ratios of corresponding sides are in proportion , that is


(AC)/(AK) =
(BC)/(HK) ( substitute values into the equation )


(AC)/(10) =
(3.5)/(7) ( cross- multiply )

7 AC = 10 × 3.5 = 35 ( divide both sides by 7 )

AC = 5 cm
