Answer: x = -1

Step-by-step explanation: 2x - 5y = -7 (1st Equation)
4x + 5y = 1 (2nd Equation)
(By Adding Both Equations Above we get)
2x - 5y + 4x + 5y = -7 + 1
Now, +5y and -5y gets Cancelled..

→ 2x + 4x = -6
→ 6x = -6
→ x = -6/6

∴ x = -1
