The sixth-graders at Brandon's school got to choose between a field trip to a museum and a field trip to a factory. 90 sixth-graders picked the museum. If there are 100 sixth-graders in all at Brandon's school, what percentage of the sixth-graders picked the museum?

The answer is 90%. You take the number going to the museum divided by the total people. So that would be 90/100, which is .90 and you move two decimal places over to find the percentage.
