In an isolated system, we assume there's no energy losses and hence follow the law of conservation of energy which says:
"…..Total energy of an isolated system remains constant; energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, it can only be transformed or transferred from one form to another..."
If we assume all the chemical energy stored in the battery is transformed into kinetic energy, then the electric car will have 250J
of kinetic energy.
