Answer:

x-intercept = (5,0)

y-intercept = (0,-15)

Explanation:

3x - y = 15

put it into standard form (y = mx + b)

3x - 15 = y

y = 3x - 15

to solve for x-intercept (plug in 0 for y)

so:

3x - 15 = 0

3x = 15

x = 5

to solve for y-intercept (plug in 0 for x)

3(0) - 15 = y

0 - 15 = y

y = -15
