Why are we obsessed with superheroes

Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

There are a couple good answers to this question.

We want to be reminded of the good in people. Some people read comics, books, or articles about ordinary saving the day by rescuing people from drownings, saving a kitten from a tree, etc. These people would be called ordinary superheroes and a lot of people find that interesting because even though there's so many crimes happening, there are many good people out there who go out of the way to "save the day".

They have unimaginable powers/abilities. Superheroes include Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Flash, AntMan, Hulk, Captain America, Batman, etc. All these guys have incredible powers such as running fast, super strength, flying, and can turn really small. Of course, as ordinary people, we can't do any of those things, but it's really cool to imagine what it would be like if we did.

Children's fiction books. At first back in the 1970-1980s, children would go buy $1 comic books about Green Lantern or the Hulk. Those comics eventually became really popular, and a lot of great movie producers started producing movies that made millions of dollars over the span of a couple decades. Those movies are still popular now, and to an even wider audience.

Hope this helps! :)
