For simplifying the problem we must go through a simple logic rule in mathematics known as BODMAS.

Here,

  • B = Brackets
  • O = Orders
  • D = Division
  • M = Multiplication
  • A = Addition
  • S = Subtraction

We'll be solving the above equation with this pattern. Now simplifying the equation,

:\implies\rm{ (1)/(4) * (9 + 3) - 1 + (3 - 4 / 4)}

:\implies\rm{ (1)/(4) * 12 - 1 + (3 - 4 / 4)}

:\implies\rm{3 - 1 + (3 - (4)/(4)) }

:\implies\rm{3 - 1 + 3 - (4)/(4) }

:\implies\rm{3 - 1 + 3 - 1}

:\implies\rm{3 + 3 - 1 - 1}

:\implies\rm{6 - 2}

:\implies\rm{4}

  • The answer of given equation is 4.

\huge\text{\bf Hey there!}

\mathsf{(1)/(4)\ of\ (9 + 3) - 1 + (3 - 4 / 4)}\\\\ \mathsf{= (1)/(4)\ *\ (9 + 3) - 1 + (3 - 4 / 4)}\\\\\mathsf{= (1)/(4)(9 + 3) - 1 + (3 - 4 / 4)}\\\\\mathsf{= (1)/(4) (12) - 1 + (3 - 4 / 4)}\\\\\mathsf{= 3 - 1 + 3 - (4)/(4)}\\\\\mathsf{= 2 + 2}\\\\\mathsf{= 4}

\huge\text{Therefore, your answer is: \boxed{\textsf 4}}\huge\checkmark
