There are a few different reasons while scientific knowledge might change over time. Here are two plausible reasons below.

➜ One reason a view might change is we may gain new evidence that go against what was previously thought.

➜ Another reason is the introduction of new technology that helps us collect more data and better understand the science.

As we learn more, our scientific knowledge might change. The more we study and learn, the more we understand the world around us. However, we may still find new evidence that causes us to change our mind about previous things we thought we knew.
