Let F and G be two events such that P(F)=0.25,P(G)=0.5 and P(F∪G)=0.6. Calculate P(F|G). Give your answer a decimal to one decimal place.

Answer: 0.3

P(F \cap G) = P(F) + P(G) - P(F \cup G)\\\\P(F \cap G) = 0.25 + 0.5 - 0.6\\\\P(F \cap G) = 0.15\\\\


P(F | G) = (P(F \cap G))/(F(G))\\\\P(F | G) = (0.15)/(0.5)\\\\P(F | G) = (15)/(50)\\\\P(F | G) = (3)/(10)\\\\P(F | G) = 0.3\\\\
