Answer:

\textsf{ Area of Park is } \sf \underline{870 m^2.}

Explanation:

Let's find the area find dividing the parks in two triangles.

See Attachment:

In Lower triangle: ABE

Perpendicular = AE = 11m

Base = AB = 60 m

Hypotenuse = BE = 61 m

Since we have,

\sf \textsf{Area of right angled triangle }= (1)/(2)Perpendicular* Base

Substituting value

\sf \textsf{Area of right angled triangle ABE }= (1)/(2)(11* 60) = 330 m^2

\dotfill

In Upper Triangle: ABC

Base = AB = 60 m

Height = CD = 18 m

We have,

\sf \textsf{Area of triangle }= (1)/(2)Base* height

Substituting value

\sf \textsf{Area of triangle ABC }= (1)/(2)(60 * 18) = 540 m^2

\dotfill

Now,

Area of park = Area of Lower triangle ABE + Area Upper Triangle ABC

\textsf{Area of Park = }\sf 330 m^2 + 540 m^2=870m^2

Therefore,
\textsf{ Area of Park is } \sf \underline{870 m^2.}
