The easiest way to do this is to make an x, h(x) table (see picture), and then graph those points as (x,y) coordinates (see graph).

PS: What do you notice about the coordinates (-1,-2) & (1,-2) and (-2,-8) & (2,-8)?

Also, What do you notice when you compare the vertex (0,0) to either (-1,-2) or (1,-2)?
