Prove that the points A(2,3), B(5,6) and C(8,3)are vertices of a right- angled triangle.​

Answer:

AC = 6

AB = √((6 - 3)² + (5 - 2)²) = √(3² + 3²) = 3√2

BC = √((8 - 5)² + (3 - 6)²) = √(3² + (-3)²)

= 3√2

(3√2)² + (3√2)² = 18 + 18 = 36 = 6²

So the points A, B, and C form a right triangle.
