Find the equation of the line which is parallel to the line y - 3x + 5 = 0, and which passes through the point of intersection of the lines 2y + 3x - 5 = 0 and 3y - 2x - 14 = 0​

Answer:

3x + 2y = 5------> 9x + 6y = 15

-2x - 3y = 14----->-4x - 6y = 28

5x = 43

x = 8.6

3(8.6) + 2y = 5

25.8 + 2y = 5

2y = -20.8

y = -10.4

-10.4 = 3(8.6) + b

-10.4 = 25.8 + b

b = -36.2

y = 3x - 36.2
