Hello,

Answer:

8(x - 3/4)(x -3/2)

Explanation:

We have 8y² - 18y + 9

8y² - 18y + 9 = 0 ⇒ a = 8 ; b = - 18 and c = 9

Δ = b² - 4ac = (-18)² - 4 × 8 × 9 = 36

We have Δ > 0 ⇒ 2 solutions

x₁ = (-b -√Δ)/2a = (18 - 6)/16 = 3/4

x₂= (-b +√Δ)/2a = (18 + 6)/16 = 3/2

We have to use the formula : a(x - x₁)(x - x₂)

\boxed{8y^2-18y+9=8(x-(3)/(4))(x-(3)/(2)) }
