Answer: y-intercept = 6 (0,6)

Explanation:

To find the y-intercept we must put the equation in slope-intercept form:
y=mx+b where b is the y-intercept.

6x+2y=12\\-6x=-6x\\2y=-6x+12 subtract 6x on both sides

(2y)/(2) =(-6x)/(2) (+12)/(2) divide 2y, -6x, and 12 by 2

y=-3x+6

We can see that 6 is our y-intercept
