Answer: If the slope is -4.5 the equation of the line is y = -4.5x +21

If the slope is
(-4)/(5) the equation of the line is y = -0.8x + 6.2

Explanation:

Im not sure if the slope is -4.5 or
(-4)/(5) but I'll solve for both just in case

To find the equation of the line with the given information we use the point-slope formula:
y-y_1=m(x-x_1) where m is the slope

(4,3) (x1,y1) m = -4.5 or
(-4)/(5)

y-3=-4.5(x-4) distribute -4.5

y-3=-4.5x+18\\+3=+3\\y=-4.5x+21add 3 on both sides to leave y by itself

So the equation of the line is y = -4.5x +21

(4,3) (x1,y1) m =
(-4)/(5) or -0.8

y-3=-0.8(x-4) distribute -0.8

y-3=-0.8x+3.2\\+3=+3\\y=-0.8x+6.2 add 3 on both sides to leave y by itself

So the equation of the line is y = -0.8x + 6.2
