Answer: Multiplication=6·7, Addition=6+6+6+6+6+6+6, Addition=7+7+7+7+7+7

Explanation:

In our problem, we are given 6 rows, and 7 flowers in each row, meaning 7 columns. rows and columns multiply together, so therefore the multiplication equation is 6·7.

Now, multiplication is addition of a number multiple times. The addition of 7 needs to be done 6 times, because there are 6 rows, and 7 flowers in each row, meaning each row is another 7 being added to find the total.

The vise versa can be done with each of the 7 columns because there are 6 flowers for each column and if there are 7 columns, we need at add six 7 times.

The answer to all of these is 42 flowers.

Hope that helped a lot.
