Answer: y = -0.23x-16.977

Explanation:

With the given information we can find the equation of the line or the slope-intercept form which is y = mx + b by using the point-slope formula:

y-y_(1) =m(x-x_(1) )

y+17 =-0.23(x-0.1 ) distribute -0.23

y+17 =-0.23x+0.023\\-17=-17\\y=-0.23x-16.977subtract 17 on both sides

y = -0.23x-16.977 is the equation of the line we need to plot

To plot we start by plotting the y-intercept which is -16.977 (0,-16.977)

and use the
(rise)/(run) method to plot our next point but since our slope is in a decimal we turn it into a fraction which will be
(-23)/(100)

So from (0,-16.977) we go down 23 units and right 100 units to get our next plot (0.1,-17)
