Answer: 4.7 (or 4 7/10)


4(1)/(2) = 4(5)/(10)


4(5)/(10) - x + 3(1)/(10) = 2(9)/(10)

-x = 2.9-3.1-4.5
-x = -4.7 |:-1
x = 4.7
