Answer: 210 miles

Explanation:

We are given the wind's speed in miles per hour. An hour is 60 minutes. And we need to find the wind speed in miles per 40 minutes.

We can do this by dividing
(60)/(40), which is
(2)/(3) or approximately 0.66666666667. Now, we multiply the 315, and we will get 210.

To confirm our answer, we can divide 315 by 3 (the denominator) and get 105. Then we can multiply that by 2 (the numerator) and get 210. Therefore, our answer is correct.

Hope that helped a lot.
