The area of 4 walls and ceiling of a room is 118m^2. If the room is 6m long and 4m high , what will be the width of the room?

4 wall + ceiling = 118

perimeter × height + length × width = 118

2(length + width) × height + length × width = 118

2(6 + width) × 4 + 6 × width = 118

48 + 8width + 6width = 118

14 width = 118 - 48

width = 70 ÷ 14

= 5 m
