Calculate the amount of carbon dioxide produced when 54 kg of carbon
burns in excess oxygen.

Answer:

12 g of carbon reacted to give 44 g of carbon ( iv) oxide

54g of carbon will give x of carbon (iv) oxide

12 x = 54 * 44

x = 54 x 44 / 12

2376 / 12

= 198 g of carbon (iv) oxide
