Answer: B. Catholics

The Nazis wanted to "de-Christianize" Germany as part of their long term plan of their Aryan world. This was because the beliefs of Catholicism didn't weld with the beliefs of the Nazi party as Catholic churches would criticize Nazi ideologies (for obvious reasons). There was even a barracks specifically for priests in the Dauchau Camp. 94.88% were Catholic. Catholic press in Germany was suppressed, and many of their rights were taken away, them being sent to ghettos and then eventually concentration camps to be gassed. It's been estimated that 3 million polish Catholics and other christian denominations were murdered, a 4th of the almost 12 million people killed by the Nazis.
