1. The best way to calculate this shape would be to calculate the big rectangle in the middle which would be

9 x 10 = 90

Then lets calculate the smaller sqaure

2 x 2 = 4
ft^(2)

Now lets calculate the triangle but first lets work out its perpendicular length by doing

9 - (2+4) = 3

3 x 3 = 9/2
ft^(2) or 4.5
ft^(2)

Finally let calculate the circle =

1/4 π
3^(2) =

1/4(9 x 3.14) =

1/4(28.26) =

2. Add these all up
