PLEASE THE ANSWER IS FALSE
a buffer will never be able to neutralise large amounts of acid or base. A buffer solution by definition is a mixture that is resistant to pH change when SMALL AMOUNTS of acid or base is added. Mainly buffers can be weak acid or weak base buffers.
