Answer: a = 12.6

Work Shown:

a^2 = b^2 + c^2 - 2*b*c*cos(A)

a^2 = 9^2 + 14^2 - 2*9*14*cos(62)

a^2 = 158.693166177956

a = sqrt(158.693166177956)

a = 12.5973475850259

a = 12.6
