Double circulation is a circulatory system found in mammals and birds, where the blood is pumped through the heart twice in one complete circuit around the body. It consists of two separate circuits: the pulmonary circulation and the systemic circulation. In the pulmonary circulation, blood is pumped from the heart to the lungs, where it receives oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. In the systemic circulation, oxygenated blood is pumped from the heart to the rest of the body, delivering oxygen and nutrients to tissues and organs. This double circulation ensures an efficient and continuous supply of oxygen-rich blood to all body tissues.

I hope this helped!

Double Circulation :-

★ Double circulation is a cardiovascular system where blood flows through two separate circuits: the pulmonary circuit and the systemic circuit.

★ In the pulmonary circuit, blood is pumped to the lungs for oxygenation, while in the systemic circuit, oxygen-rich blood is pumped to the body's tissues.

★ This arrangement ensures efficient separation of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood, enabling higher oxygen delivery to body tissues.
