Because this is a straight line all 3 angles will sum up to 180 so add all three and solve for x

x-1+x+x+1=180
3x=180
x=60

So the angles will be:
x-1=60-1=59
x=60
x+1=60+1=61

Answer:

59°, 60° and 61°

Explanation:

Statement:

  • Angles on a straight line add up to 180 degrees.

Solution:

According to the statement:

x - 1 + x + x + 1 = 180

Combine like terms

x + x + x - 1 + 1 = 180

3x = 180

Divide both sides by 3

x = 180 / 3

x = 60 degrees

So,

  • ∠1 = x - 1 = 60 - 1 = 59°
  • ∠2 = 60°
  • ∠3 = 60 + 1 = 61°

The measures of angles are 59°, 60° and 61°.
