Write five complete sentences in French presenting yourself by sharing the following information. To protect your identity, you can make up a different birthday and phone number. Be sure to use the vocabulary and grammar from the Unit 1 tutorials and the course glossary. Then, ask the same questions of a classmate. It is not necessary to respond to anyone’s posts.

1. First complete sentence: your name;
2. Second complete sentence: your phone number (in digits versus words);
3. Third complete sentence: your nationality;
4. Fourth complete sentence: your date of birth/birthday and
5. Fifth complete sentence: your age.

Answer:

Q1. Tu t'appelles?

R1. Salut/Bonjour, je m'appelle [name].

Q2.Quel est ton numero de telephone?

R2. Mon nombre est cinq-six-sept, trois-sept-zero, huit-un-huit-zero.

Q3. Qu'est-ce que ta nationalite?

R3. Je suis Americain/e. Ma maison est au Etats-Unis.

Q4. Quand est ton anniversaire?

R4. Mon anniversaire est...[date d'anniversaire]

Q5. Quel age as-tu?

R5. J'ai ## ans.

Step-by-step explanation:

Q1. Your name is?

R1. Hi/Good day, my name is [name].

Q2. What is your telephone number?

R2. My number is 5-6-7,3-7-0,8-1-8-0

Q3.What is your nationality?

R3. I am American*. My home is in the United States*

(assuming you are American)

Q4. When is your birthday?

R4. My birthday is ...[date of birth]

Q5. How old are you

R5. I am (number) years [old].

Note! When talking about how old something/someone is you use avoir (to have) rather than etre (to be)

If this is a spoken assignment, utilize "et toi" (and you) as a quick way to get your partner to answer the presented question.

Disclaimer! It's been like 3 years since I was in (what looks like) French 1, so some of the words might be introduced later in the course, so keep an eye out for anything unfamiliar or you cannot guess.

Hopefully, this was helpful.
