A rapidly spreading virus is multiplying itself into 2 viruses in every minute time interval. Write a correct base with appropriate exponent to the number of viruses in each of the following intervals of time. (i) in 1 minute (iv) in 5 minutes. So,

In 1 minutes = 2

In 2 minutes = 2×2 = 6

In 3 minutes = 6×2 = 12

In 5 minutes = 12×2×2 = 48

In 8 minutes = 48×2×2×2 = 384

In 10 minutes = 384×2×2 = 1536

Hence, the above is the answer.
